2024 was a year of growth for Blue Sky Disaster Relief. We expanded our services, launched our Cold Weather and Extreme Cold Weather Kits, and organized support for teens and families across four states. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and the dedication of our volunteers, we turned hard moments into opportunities — making sure families facing severe weather had the information, supplies, and support they needed to stay resilient.
When I started Blue Sky, it was just me, my family, and a belief that no one should have to face the aftermath of a disaster alone. In 2024, that belief grew into something bigger — a team of volunteers, a network of partners, and more families reached than ever before.
Every supply we deliver is a reminder of why we do this — and it pushes us to keep thinking beyond the kit, toward helping families prepare long before the next storm. Thank you for being part of it.

The impact that matters most is harder to count: the relief on a survivor's face, a teenager who feels seen on the worst day of their life, and a community that knows help is on the way. In 2024 we also deepened collaborations with government agencies, nonprofits, and for-profit partners who share our mission.
Program Highlights
